This past week was particularly busy and included some fun moments with our favorite kids. We have been promising Riley for sometime that we would take him ice skating and find a time to play with David. So, we planned to surprise the kids with a trip to Springville to do both together. Unfortunately, when we went to pick up Riley last Saturday, we found that he was sick with strep throat and was unable to go. However, since David and Emma were expecting us, we decided we'd still go visit and take them to Jumpin Jacks instead saving the ice skating for a time when Riley could be there.
Afterwards, we went to Jeff and Margaret's for dinner
During the week we gave Granny a haircut...

I asked her to pose for a "before" picture and this is what I got. |
|
I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the "short, short" cut that she requested, but I think it looks nice. |
...Celebrated Sparks' 9th birthday...

"Can I have a treat?" |

It was even taste tested by an actual Girl Scout! |
...We did a bunch of stuff we don't have pictures for, like babysit baby Lucy, take Granny to get her taxes done, and another shopping trip to Seigfrieds for my uncle Helmut's birthday....
... Played with the "fish eye" setting on my camera...
...Then finally on Saturday, Riley was feeling better, we were babysitting Gabby, and made good on the ice skating promise!
Then, as if that wasn't enough fun for one week, we got a huge surprise last night at Family Home Evening. Check out the
Anderson Family Blog to see what it was.
