Kristin's parents are on a mission on Kirtland Ohio. They are the CES missionaries teaching institute and we've been planning all year to visit them. They left just after Christmas last year, so it had been 6 months since we'd seen them. This was the weekend and not only are we excited to visit, we are both in desperate need of a vacation and are looking forward to the change of pace from our daily lives.

| Right off the bat our plans got delayed when our connecting flight from Denver to Cleavland got cancelled. We got rerouted through Chicago adding an extra airport stop and 5 hours of commute time to our schedule. We made the most of the additional layover by sharing a red, white, and blue treat to celebrate the 4th of July at the airport. |
